Denmark Schengen visa from Canada
Denmark is one of the countries that issues Schengen visas. A short-stay visa may authorize travel for up to 90 days in any 180-day period, subject to the conditions on the issued visa and border checks. This page is designed for non-Canadian citizens who are legally resident in Canada.
When Denmark should handle the application
Normally, apply through Denmark when it is your main destination—because you will spend the longest time there or the main purpose of the trip takes place there. If the stay is equal across countries, the first country of entry may determine responsibility under the official rules.
Typical travel profile
Copenhagen and Nordic business travel makes this page relevant for tourism, family visits and business meetings. The supporting evidence should match the actual itinerary and purpose rather than a generic template.
